Lawyers Seek Sanctions Against KSD for Withholding Relevant Documents and Misleading the Court

This March 18, 2026 press release from Thomas More Society explains that a wrongly withheld document confirms that KSD students circulated an explicit survey using school yearbook social media in 2022.

The plaintiffs have filed a motion for sanctions, after the District finally turned over revelatory attachments to a May 31, 2023 e-mail that had been withheld for almost a year, despite repeated specific requests. According to the press release, "the motion also details how the District’s handling of these documents is consistent with the broader pattern alleged in the suit: delay, denial, and resistance to disclosure at every stage.

Please read the press release, consider the implications, and help insist on accountability. Our community and kids deserve better!
